It's been a long time coming but the second installment of Linear is
now available for download! I've decided to leave the animated intro
out of future chapters for now, since you already have it in the first
chapter, and it adds an unnecessary 15mb to the download.
The gallery has also been updated with new screenshots, promo art and
I've also dredged up some old fanart from the comic format days.
After spending months working with the Blade Visual Novel engine, I've
run into some issues that may prompt me to switch engines much further
down the track, (most likely once Linear has been completed,) and I'd
like to re-work it in FLASH. This is good news for everyone really,
especially my Mac-based fans! But that's just theoretical babble for
now!

Linear gets (yet another) new website layout and the final version of
'Chapter I' is now up for download!
As much as I adored my pervious web layout, this whole project was
going to outgrow the limited space very quickly, so I opted for a more
open-looking and traditional website. It's not as sleek or pretty, but
I have loads of room now. It was the age old web designer quandary of
style vs practicality.
I have been spending the past few months fine-tuning Linear's
storyline and characters as well as re-doing parts of the first
chapter. Put simply, I wanted it as perfect as possible. I have a
great story in my head but depending on how I portray it can make of
break it. The completed version of the first installment contains a
lot of new artwork, new soundtrack, an animated opening and different
ending from the original. It also sets the benchmark and framework for
all other chapters now that the entire story outline has been
finalised from start to end. Which I am REALLY happy about.
The final size of the download came to around 37mb. I'm not sure how
much this service provider I'm using can take in terms of downloads so
I'll have to keep a close eye on my bandwidth.
